This was actually my second attempt too. The first time, I was ~150 over max NOx on the 25mph test. The smog tech was a pretty cool guy and interested in the Z. He didn't poke around too much but noted the Carbon Canister was not accessible. Because of this, I wouldn't have to pay an additional 10 dollars for some sort of EVAP test where they pinch the line going to the carbon canister. Anyways, I believe I failed at first because I didn't drive the car hard enough beforehand and the cats cooled off while waiting for cars ahead of me to finish up their test. The second time I went, I drove the piss out of the car for about an hour and then rolled up to the place with nobody in line. It was a different guy working though and he seemed to give a much more thorough inspection which made me nervous. Nonetheless, here is the end result:
